Staff and parents recently enjoyed the annual PTA Quiz night.
School is open this morning as normal. Please be aware, however, that the paths on Crawley Ridge and surrounding roads are still very icy and slippery so take care on your journey in.

This year's Christmas production of Pantastic has received very positive reviews and all the cast and choir must be complimented on a very successful production.
It was a wonderful start to the week as we welcomed a large number of visitors to the school for our informal story telling morning this Monday 3rd December.
CRJS is taking part in a sponsored Reindeer Fun Run on Friday 7th December to raise vital funds to support Phyllis Tuckwell Hospice Care. The charity provides supportive and end of life care for patients and families who are living with an advanced or terminal illness, such as cancer.
Each year, the PTA raffle some wonderful Christmas hampers to raise funds for the school.
This year, there will be 20 fantastic hampers to raffle and the 1st, 2nd and 3rd prize hampers are always extra special!
During the week commencing 12th November 2018, the whole school participated in a variety of activities and events designed to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the end of WW1. Each year group focussed on a specific aspect of the two world wars and read an age appropriate piece of literature designed to encourage discussion and allow the children to reflect on the significance of remembrance.
It has been a spectacular springtime of sport at Crawley Ridge, with children throughout the school participating in a wide range of sporting activities. Rachel Taylor, Sports Co-ordinator for the school, explains why.
On Friday 25th May, parents and carers are invited to join the children for the afternoon from 12.45pm as they take part in the annual Sports Day event.
A huge thank you to all the parents, children, staff and the PTA who attended Get Growing Day on Saturday 21st April. Everyone worked really hard on many different tasks to help enhance our beautiful school grounds and the PTA provided most welcome refreshments and lunch.
