Boys from Year 5, who play rugby for Camberley Rugby Club, proudly displayed their magnificent trophy won at a recent tournament.
Girls from Years 5 and 6 represented Crawley Ridge at the Surrey Heath Dance Festival, held at Tomlinscote School on 17th January.
On Wednesday 10th January, Year 6 visited the Swaminarayan Hindu temple in Neasden as part of their studies of the Hindu faith. The amazing temple is breathtakingly beautiful and back at school the children have been writing about their truly memorable experience.
Monday 18th December was Victorian Day at Crawley Ridge Junior School. Year 6 children and staff came to school dressed as Victorians and spent a busy day taking part in Victorian lessons and performing the plays they had written for their Victorian toy theatres.
On Friday 1st December, CRJS will be holding a story telling morning from 9:00am until 10:30am.
Dressing up for the occasion and participating in an Egyptian Workshop, Year 5 children were given a taste of what it would have been like to live in Ancient Egypt.
On the afternoon of 29th September, Crawey Ridge pupils and staff enjoyed a maths lesson with a difference, helping raise funds for Cancer Research.
For the second consecutive year, Crawley Ridge Junior School will be fund raising for the Phyllis Tuckwell Hospice. Last year we organised a Reindeer Run. This year, on Friday December 1st, the pupils will take part in an Elf Run.
On Wednesday 1st November, Year 6 enjoyed an exciting day at the London Museum of Water and Steam near Kew Bridge, exploring the many interactive displays. They even had the opportunity to meet James Watt as a professional actor brought this important historical figure to life.
CRJS children will be visited by the NSPCC, the UK's leading children's charity, who will deliver an assembly on Friday 22nd September to make sure children have the knowledge and understanding to stay safe from abuse. For a minimum donation of £1 children can come to school dressed in green (no hair dyes please).
