Together we have explored diary writing and used our skills to put ourselves into the shoes of ‘Max’ from ‘Where the Wild Things Are.’ We have used the dictionary to seek out the meaning of emotions and feelings. With a partner, we have diary extracts aloud with expression and intonation.  

Practical science is at the centre of our learning and this week we have applied our skills to construct simple circuits using a switch. Our favourite moment was using a motor for the first time and watching what happens when we closed the switch to complete the circuit.
