Sports Day
On Friday 25th May, parents and carers are invited to join the children for the afternoon from 12.45pm as they take part in the annual Sports Day event.
This half term will end with our annual Sports Day. We have moved the day forward to take some pressure off the last few weeks of the summer term and to spread events out for working parents. Our day will start with a visit by Rachel Morris who has competed in the last three Paralympic Games. In Beijing and London, Rachel competed in the hand cycling events and in Rio she competed as a rower; winning a gold medal. She will talk to the children about overcoming disability and aiming high whatever an individual’s circumstances. We are looking forward to welcoming her to the school.
The afternoon’s events will start at 12:45pm after the children have eaten lunch.
